PCB Solutions, Inc, an Electronic Services Manufacturer in Layton, Utah, has recently acquired Process Engineer and Programmer Travis Lake of Magna, Utah. Lake brings almost 20 years of Electronic Manufacturing experience to the young and vibrant company.

Despite the worldwide economic slowdown, PCB Solutions has continued to thrive by focusing on long-standing Contract Electronic Manufacturing customer relations with a diverse range of customers from throughout the electronic industry. Lake hopes to continue this effort with his unique skill-set and his attention and concern for manufacturability and proficiency.

When asked about his recent move to PCB Solutions, Travis commented, “I enjoy sharing information and researching as much as I can about the pcb assembly industry. I hope to be a trusted consultant for the customers here by bringing a detailed approach to the concept to production transition. I love what I do and I’m excited about the opportunity to be involved with such a professional and experienced group of Engineers and Technicians.”

VP of PCBA Manufacturing, Joe Otterstrom stated, “Travis is a really good find for us. He’s got a good eye for detail and a keen sense of quality that can be hard to find in a Process Engineer. He understands that it’s the customers that we work for here and knows the value of ISO Standards compliance. We’re really looking forward to having him on board.”

When asked about Lake, Printed Circuit Board Assembly VP of Operations Steve Niblack commented, “It’s a buyer’s market for employers. Fortunately, we’ve been able to thrive throughout the recession and gain access to team members like Travis that bring a unique combination of skills and experience to a Surface Mount Technology operation like ours. I think he’ll be a great addition.”
