Productronica presence celebrates YESTech’s European strength and new equipment launch

YESTech’s system line up at this year’s Productronica will be the biggest ever; it will include the YTV BX, which offers AOI benchtop PCB inspection with exceptional defect coverage. Using 5 megapixel colour imaging technology, the YTV BX inspects solder joints and verifies correct part assembly to improve quality and increase throughput. The four side viewing cameras
add inspection capabilities usually found only on in-line systems. For in-line inspection, visitors can see the YTV FX which, with top down and side viewing cameras, offers high speed PCB inspection capability, all in true colour.

On-line and off-line Automated X-Ray Inspection (AXI) equipment will be represented by YESTech’s newly launched Vision Award winning X-Series systems, offering complete inspection of solder joints and other critical hidden features found in electronic assemblies, PCBs and packaged semiconductors. A unique 3D tomosynthesis image gathering technique, combined with easy to use programming software, makes the inspection of hidden joints on double sided boards clear and precise. Visitors seeking conformal coating inspection can view the YTV FUV which simplifies coating test by automating the inspection process for quality, consistency and thickness of coatings under UV lighting with the use of proprietary inspection algorithms.

YESTech’s impressive presence at Productronica reflects their European strength and growth. This year also sees the opening of their European Demonstration and Support Facility in Maastricht, Holland. This significantly enhances the support available to production staff as they choose and configure YESTech equipment for all line positions and all types of PCB board and component inspection. Engineers from both the US and European support centres will be available on booth A2 339 to demonstrate systems and to discuss applications.
