ATLANTA — Pipe product maker Anvil International LP said Friday it plans to sell some assets of its electrical fittings business, Picoma, to steel pipe producer John Maneely Co.
Under an agreement between the two companies, John Maneely will transfer some assets of Seminole Tubular Products, its plumbing fittings business.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Anvil is a unit of Atlanta-based Mueller Water Products Inc., which makes infrastructure and flow control products. John Maneely Co. is a subsidiary of the Carlyle Group, a private equity fund.

Printed circuit board (PCB) production will decline 20% to $40.5 billion in 2009 because of weaker demand for electronics equipment caused by the global economic downturn, according to a study by trade association IPC.
The world market for PCBs had reached $50.8 billion in 2008, up 1% over 2007. Growth in global board production will resume in 2010 when the market grows to $43.5 billion worldwide.

At issue is the Interstate 5-to-Highway 99W Connector Project.
